Deadlock Holmes
2026A noir detective game where you crack murder cases by writing real SQL against real evidence tables. Every query runs for real - and every wrong accusation costs you.
Find the exit. Don't touch anything.
Lost Exit is a free Android maze game with 100 hand-built levels, fog-of-war exploration and one-touch-death hazards, playable entirely offline.
Lost Exit drops you somewhere inside a maze you cannot see. A small pool of light moves with you, everything you walk stays lit behind you, and a minimap fills in as you go. The map you navigate by is the one you drew with your own feet.
The maze fights back. Spikes snap out of the walls, axes swing at the corners, beams sweep the corridors and arrows fire down them - and deeper in, goblins patrol the passages and come after you on sight. There is no health bar. One touch and you are down - revives are limited and run out.
But nothing in it is a cheap shot. Every hazard runs on a fixed pattern and tells you before it strikes, and every one is checked against your own walking speed before the level ever ships. Hard, never unfair.
You wake up somewhere in the dark. The exit is as far from you as the maze allows.
Explore. Every corridor you walk stays lit, and the minimap in the corner fills in to match.
Read the traps. Each one has a tell - wait for it, then commit.
Swing at a cracked wall to open a shortcut, or at whatever just started chasing you.
Reach the portal before the clock. Three stars if you were fast, one if you just made it out.
Four territories - meadow, quarry, catacombs, sanctum - each with its own stone, its own light and its own trouble. New levels arrive without an app update.
Wall spikes, spinning axes, thunder beams, arrow launchers, and goblins that hunt by line of sight. Introduced one at a time, never all at once.
See one corner at a time and build the map yourself. Remembering where you've been is half the game.
Slimes, vampires, tribal leaders, outlaws and bosses. Pick your species when you start and buy the rest with coins you find in the maze.
Up to three stars a level, one leaderboard for everyone, ranked on stars alone. No way to buy your way up it.
Coins from level 10, ability cards from level 25. A shield, a portal of your own, and fire and water spells in three forms each. Choose what to carry in, then choose when to spend it.
Levels and progress work with no signal at all, on a plane or underground, and sync back up when you return.
100 hand-built levels, split across four territories - meadow, quarry, catacombs and sanctum. New levels arrive over the air, without an app update.
The run ends. There is no health bar - one touch and you are down, and revives are limited. Every hazard runs on a fixed pattern and telegraphs before it strikes, so a death is always readable in hindsight.
Yes. Levels and progress work with no signal at all and sync back up when you reconnect.
It is rated Everyone on Google Play. The art is bright and cartoon-styled, and the danger is trap-and-timing based rather than graphic.
No. It is single player, but every level is scored out of three stars and those stars feed one global leaderboard that nobody can pay their way up.
It is free to download. It contains ads and in-app purchases, and no level can be skipped by paying.
For anyone who wants a maze with teeth - colourful enough for kids, tight enough that finishing a level actually feels like something. Short runs, instant retries, and no level you can pay to skip.
